“I am absolutely thrilled to have joined the Global Herbs team as their South West Area Sales Manager. Having worked in the Agricultural sector for the past three years, I was desperate to get back to Equine. Working in the industry that you have a passion for is something that not many people get to do, and for me I regard myself as very fortunate to be working for a company with such a good name and strong products.
Having been brought up in the horse racing centre of Lambourn, I have always had a passion for horses. I started riding aged 6 and have been working in racing yards in Lambourn and Marlborough throughout my life. However, having graduated from University with a Sports Science degree, my association with horses has taken on the role of horse owner rather than stable lad. Over the past ten years I have retained my devotion to racing, but have also developed a love for Eventing and am currently joint owner of two Thoroughbreds who are trying their hand at competing on the Novice eventing circuit. I am married to my wife Pip and have two young boys called George and Fred, who I hope will develop a similar love of horses.
My work role includes visiting my customers on a regular basis, checking stock, and informing them of new products we have to offer. As South West sales manager I have to cover a lot of miles, but it’s never hard to do when you get to spend your day talking horses with your customers, especially when you get to hear all the amazing stories and feedback about Global Herbs products.
I am lucky to say that I’m one of the small percentage of the population that can truly say, I love my job!”
