GH sponsored para-rider Evie Toombes has been in hospital for the past month due to ongoing investigations and health complications. Evie’s mum Caroline has been in touch to let us know how she has been getting on.
“Evie finally felt strong enough for a trip out, and what great therapy it was for her. Without the horses in her life she would struggle even more. We’re awaiting a referral to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, but it’s time for some fun when possible now.”
Evie’s words: “Fab day at arena UK on Tuesday, our first show in over a month after spending October in hospital. Millie (Milton) jumped a fab double clear in the 90cm, and then just had an unlucky pole in the 1m Open. So happy with how it went, although it was freezing! We were pleased to have the Global Herbs rug to keep us warm, and Milli was working well on Movefree Plus”
