Global Herbs Team rider Camilla Hardie has kindly written her story about her experience this year with PolleneX powder:
“I have owned Dougal for 6 years, producing him myself and bringing him up the grades. In June/July this year, we were in the throws of fitness training for the Festival of British Eventing in August at Gatcombe Park. We were galloping every 4 days combined with competing/flatwork and jumping, but he seemed to be losing performance. His breathing became excessive with rapid and shallow breaths, not at all consistent with his workload/fitness. He was blood tested which proved totally clear. After head scratching and talking with several people whose horses seemed to be going through something similar, we deduced it could possibly be some sort of allergy/seasonal allergy, and after a chat with Sarah at Global Herbs she recommended PolleneX.
With only a week to go before Gatcombe, Dougal was started on PolleneX, and after a few days it started working. He finished the cross country full of running and his respiration rate returned to normal within the expected time. Once his 1KG tub of Pollenx ran out, within a couple of days his rapid shallow breathing had returned, so I immediately put him back on it until hopefully when Autumn comes whatever is irritating his wind has been washed away.”
