“We headed off to Mount Ballan with Faye, Fulvaro (Griffy) and El Nino. Faye did a sweet test and then I had two fences down, which I was a little disappointed with. We had another great clear XC though so if we go clear at Brand Hall 1* she is all qualified for a CCI1*, massively exciting!
Griff who had that annoying ‘not stop’ at Moreton Morrell, was doing a stonking test until some people started dismantling the stabling on the other side of the hedge. They were asked to stop but Griffy felt that he was not going near that end of the arena. Luckily the judge was kind and gave us a 32. He did a fab double clear and I couldn’t be more thrilled with him or for his owner Georgia Maher.
El Nino came off the lorry a little flat, I think having been on the lorry since 4.30 just took the wind out of his sails. I was gutted because he is such a fab horse. I have put him on Global Herbs Restore and he feels so much better.
Next off to Brand Hall CIC 1* with Sirius, Otto, Donk, Raven and Batman – going to be very busy but exciting!”
