Latest update from sponsored rider Laura Geary:
“At the end of September we took Crème to his first BE event at Munstead and he was very good again! He was third after the dressage with 31.5, this was a huge improvement from last time. He had 2 down show jumping because he has such a big baby canter at the moment. Then we had a super clear cross country. He was amazing and really seems to be getting the idea of what it is all about. He was so relaxed all day and he didn’t care about anything that was going on around him. We have to keep reminding ourselves that he is only 4!
Sadly we did not have the end to our season that we wanted as in the week before our last event with Crème I came off a horse and got concussion so we had to withdraw from the event. We will now spend the winter taking him out jumping ready for next season.
Dinero and Edd have been out doing dressage, Dinero has almost qualified for the Novice winter regional’s and we have decided to take Edd out for experience and then we can aim for the summer regional’s next year.
They have both gained some good results at novice level recently, at his first BD show Edd was given 71.67% in N23 and it was his first time doing a Novice test!. Dinero had 73.67% in N38 at Speedgate and last week he had 73% in Novice 24 at Hadlow College. Last weekend Edd met mirrors for the first time and was convinced that there was another horse in the arena with him, so we’ll take him out to as many different venues as possible so he can gain experience”
