Global Herbs have confirmed Fizz Equine Marketing as the agency who can transform their brand image and communicate a clear message of excellence to the equestrian public.
Established by Stephen Ashdown MRVCS in 1998, Global Herbs was developed with the intention to offer a unique blend between the ancient wisdom of traditional herbs and the modern twist of veterinary science. Stephen had spent many years practising as a Vet when he became involved in government led projects to help poor communities with animal healthcare in Africa and Asia. It was whilst working in these remote regions that Stephen was first introduced to pure herbal remedies. This spurned his interest and desire to mix this natural form of nutritional support with extensive scientific research.
“This is an exciting account for Fizz; it’s an established business with a highly successful range. We are really pleased to be redesigning the Global Herbs brand and to be heading up the marketing campaign in 2010”. Explained Jayne. “Ancient herbal remedies have been successfully used for thousands of years that coupled with Global’s veterinary based research gives us a unique marketing edge to define Global Herbs from its competitors”.
Stephen Ashdown added “We have become a true innovator, developing many unique supplements which cannot be replicated using chemical ingredients. Our supplements offer nutritional support which cannot be rivalled by our competitors, we are very keen to convey this message to the equestrian public which is why have employed Fizz Equestrian” Stephen went on to say “We decided that we should keep our focus on what we do best, producing supplements and allow an expert to take over the reins of our branding and marketing. We are really pleased with Fizz’s creative ideas and the affects are already being felt within the business”.
The new Global Herbs logo and branding are launching this spring and the marketing campaign of Restore and Laminitis Prone will be seen throughout National magazines in February.

Poor digestion can often trigger the onset of painful and sometimes fatal inflammation of the lamminae - laminitis. The condition results in toxins produced by 'bad' bacteria in the bowels leaking through to the blood. This causes damage and restricts the blood supply to the sensitive laminae in the feet...
SuperCalm keeps your horse relaxed and easy to manage whilst providing the best nutrition for natural living, fitness and strong body defences....
A liver tonic which revives, helps with movement, and supports general condition and brightness. Results seen in a few days. This formula often enriches the colour of a horse's coat as the digestion improves. Use if you want your horse to look like and be a 'picture of health'. Feed to horses that are in poor condition or are listless despite good feeding and worming. Routinely use Restore at each change of season - 4 times yearly. ..
Sarc-Ex provides a unique approach for those horses with skin concerns in the form of small bumps . No-one is really sure what causes such problems but they are certainly related closely to insect bites and inherent weakness in the body's natural defences....
Created and managed by Stephen Ashdown MRCVS, the Global Herbs product range is developed by blending modern science with the ancient wisdom Stephen studied whilst working in Africa and Asia.
Once Stephen had qualified and practiced in the UK, he started travelling to Asia and Africa to assist with government led projects to improve healthcare and conditions for livestock. By keeping livestock healthy, poor families were able to work and sustain a living. During this time he witnessed the power of herbs and realised how the UK had almost turned it's back on this first form of health care available to man.
It was at this point Stephen knew that ancient herbs and modern science could complement the well-being of thousands of animals around the world; as a result Global Herbs was created.
