The
most common type of horse warts are those that affect young horses. These
warts are known as papillomas and most commonly occur in clusters on
the lips and muzzle. Occasionally they are found on the horse's ears and
eyelids but rarely cause problems are drop off with time. They are
caused by a specific virus and the bodies immune system gradually
gets rid of them. If the foal becomes sick or its immune systems is
weak the problem may get worse. Supplements to strengthen the immune
system are likely to help in such situation
