Laminitis Prone Supplement
For sensitive laminae
1L bottles 5/25L cans
SENSITIVE LAMINAE
Laminitis Prone Supplement (LPS) is a nutritional aid for the management
of laminitis in susceptible horses. As a liver tonic LPS helps horses digest
their food better and supports the liver in its function of detoxifying the body.
Almost all laminitis is caused by incomplete digestion of food in the hind
gut. This poor digestion results in the release of acids and toxins into the blood which
damage the blood vessels that supply the sensitive laminae in the feet.
DIRECTIONS:
Can be used throughout the year. Start feeding LPS at a high level of 25mls
twice daily for an average horse. In severe situations maintain at this level until horses are
more comfortable. When the risk of grass is high feed LPS at a level of 10-15mls twice daily
routinely. In less dangerous situations maintenance at 5mls twice daily is sufficient.

Hoof Condition
Crumbling and weak hooves are a sign of nutritional imbalance in your horse. This
may be because the feed has been lacking or that the correct nutrients have not been
absorbed properly. Hoof growth is relatively slow so it takes a few weeks to notice new
growth but we usually find that within 3 weeks owners start to see new better horn
production when feeding a good supplement such as those below.
HoofAid
A strong black ointment for the sole
200kg pots.
HOOF Aid is as
strong as it smells. Paint on warm to troublesome smelly areas
of the feet in winter or when damp conditions are troublesome.
DIRECTIONS:
Warm
up before use either in water bath or gently in microwave. Mix
well and paint onto troublesome areas after cleaning the foot
thoroughly first and trimming away excess horn growth and dead
horn.

SupaHoof
Transforms hooves
1kg powder in refill packs and tubs. Also 5kg tubs
It is always
best to feed nutrients in as natural a form as possible.
SuperHoof is made from special plant material that contains
natural Biotin within the plant itself. It is often interesting
to see the difference in hoof quality between horses that are
allowed to graze as far as they like on open range land compared
to housed and confined animals that are limited in what they are
able to eat. Those that can range far and wide in search of the
right plants that contain good sources of Biotin and other
nutrients have tough flexible hoofs that very rarely have
problems.
SupaHOOF is
taken from plants that grow on the open African and Asian
Savannah lands that horses love. It is still best if your horse
can have access to as diverse grazing land as possible but
SupaHOOF can make all the difference and give you the confidence
that your horse does not have to desperately search for mineral
and Biotin rich food when out on a ride.
When
to Use:
1.
Intensively if you are not happy about your horses foot
condition (it takes 9 months to grow new hooves!)
2. Routinely
even if your horses hooves are not too bad. The extra minerals
will help with lots of other parts of the body like joints.
3. In
conjunction with a program as outlined in the joint information
pack
4. For young
stock to make sure they grow up correctly
DIRECTIONS:
For
hoof condition use 2 level 25ml scoops (50g per day) twice daily
for a 500kg horse. It takes 9 mths for hooves to be completely
replaced.
INGREDIENTS
Tropical plants rich in natural Biotin and then enriched with
other ingredients such as rosehips.
