Stress and worry are some of the main causes of ill health and
poor performance in horses and people. Incorrect feeding and
environmental conditions or even toxins can be the main causes.
Some horses will become obviously agitated even aggressive. Others
will behave badly whilst some will under perform or become weak
and unhealthy. Herbs are one of the very few ways of tackling
these important issues once management problems have been
addressed.

MagCalm
Real magnesium powder that you can count on
1kg & 5kg powder in tubs. 1kg of powder lasts an average horse 3-6
weeks
Perhaps the
most effective source of magnesium on the market. MagCalm is a
very effective mixture of highly digestible chelated (protein
bound) Magnesium and other minerals. Together these ingredients
help muscles work more effectively and promote calm in those
horses that become overexcited in a wide variety of situations.
Use on a routine basis if your horse has not responded to
SuperCalm or is experiencing uncomfortable muscles and
difficulty with movement. An excellent general calmer which can
also be used with SuperCalm and FriskyMare if necessary.

BoxRest
Helps ypour horse with forced rest
1kg , 2kg & 5kg tubs. 1kg will last an average horse 10 days.
A new product
designed to help you when you need to keep your horse chilled
out when confined in a loose box. This situation may have arisen
because of poor health or damage to tendons etc. Being confined
without the chance of being in the open or mixing with other
horses can be very stressful for any horse. In fact such a
situation can slow the process of full recovery and necessitate
an even longer period of isolation. BoxRest formula also
supports the general nutrition of the whole body and ensures a
quick return to the freedom your horse needs.
BoxRest
is designed to use with TurnOut formula on the day of finishing
the period of confinement
DIRECTIONS:
Feed 2 level 25ml scoops twice daily to start with and reduce level as required after
1 month.

TurnOut
Chills out your horse on the day that BoxRest ends
250ml bottles of liquid
We all know
how crazy horses can go when first released back into the field.
TurnOut is designed to provide you with special help at such a
time. Just use this liquid the day before and an hour or two
before the moment arrives and you should have much less cause
for concern about undue damage because of excessive excitement.
If you are unlucky excessive excitement can undo all the good
work of months of box rest.
DIRECTIONS:
Use 100 -
150ml in a drench for an average horse or mixed in with some
tasty feed.

ThoroughBred
Calmer
For fine boned horses
1kg & 5kg powder in tubs
Some breeds of
horse need a more gentle herbal approach than others and we have
found that thoroughbreds respond better to this more simple mix
of herbs.
ThorougBred
Calmer is a special blend that many owners have found to make
all the difference to their horses whether used for a relaxed
hack in the country or more competitive situations. Our formula
SuperCalm may be ideal for most horses but try this new product
if you are not getting enough response or you prefer a less
rigorous approach.
Remember
when using this product and others in this chapter to adjust
feeding to reduce fizziness and overexcitement. As with some of
our other formulae expect a little more energy for the first 2-3
days until the 'chill out' nutrients get through.
DIRECTIONS:
Feed two
25ml scoops twice daily for a normal horse or as advised by our
technical staff.

AntiSuck
For horses that like to suck air
1kg & 5kg powder in tubs
For horses
that like to suck air This blend is traditionally used to
maintain a calm and comfortable stomach. Some horses do get a
little uncomfortable in this area and will attempt to fill their
stomachs to try and get back to normal.
Many
nutrients can help horses in such situations but those in 'AntiSuck'
are particularly effective. Sometimes horses get used to gulping
air down and the issue lies in the 'mind' but almost always
there is a more rational explanation. Get some good advice from
your vet and behaviourist and afterwards you may find that a
little 'AntiSuck' is a great help.
Sometimes
horses may also bite on stable doors or trees and fences. If
they are eating wood this may be linked to a lack of minerals
and you need to feed GlobalVite but when it is just to help
their gulping then AntiSuck may be very helpful..
DIRECTIONS:
To start use
two blue 25ml scoops twice daily. Use at this level for two
months and then phone us to discuss at what level to continue.

ShakeFree
For tossing of the head
(summer and winter formulae)
1kg powder in tubs
ShakeFree is a new product that supports normal behaviour in horses that need
assistance with head, nose and eye comfort. In such situations horses that need this
nutritional product may in frustration toss their heads and become difficult to manage
and ride. Shakefree works to soothe, relax and transform skin, sensitive membranes
and nerves and is available in summer and winter formulas. In summer flowering
plants cause extra concern for such horses and specific herbs are needed to combat
the varied climactic conditions. In winter this help is needed less and calming and
nerve support nutrients are more useful.
DIRECTIONS:
As with our other formulae feed 1 level 25ml scoop twice daily for an average horse.
Only a low level maintenance may be necessary at easier times of the year but at the
peak season the level can be increased as advised by our veterinary advice line.
A 1kg tub lasts 3-6 weeks in an average horse
