GLOBAL HERBS was founded in 1998 by Stephen Ashdown MA, MSc BVetMed
MRCVS, a vet who has been carrying out research on herbs and
traditional animal health practices for the past 10 years. Stephen
worked extensively in veterinary practice in the UK before moving into
overseas development in Africa and Asia where he started to witness
first hand the power and importance of herbs to people in the tropics
where modern health services are very limited. As well as his
veterinary qualification he holds masters degrees in Tropical Animal
Production and Rural Development Planning.
Upon returning to the UK from work in Sudan Stephen
founded GLOBAL HERBS. GLOBAL HERBS now provides a totally unique service all
over the UK and abroad and combines direct veterinary advice with
state-of-the-art science based herbal products. At the UK office
at Chichester, W.Sussex (Near Portsmouth) Stephen is assisted by an
expert team of veterinary nurses and technical staff. GLOBAL HERBS aims to promote healthy, balanced
lifestyles for people and their animals and support development
initiatives around the world for a fairer and more caring planet. Ask
